Ball Chain Mfg. Co., Inc Honored

We are proud to announce that Ball Chain Mfg. Co., Inc., our parent company, is being honored by the Westchester County Association for their work during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

As the world's largest manufacturer of ball chain and related products, our family-owned and operated company has a history of steering its production capabilities to address global challenges. In World War II, we retooled our machines to make parts for the P-47 Thunderbolt fighter plane. Not surprisingly, when the Westchester County Association leader approached Ball Chain to make masks for local hospitals and healthcare professionals, we quickly turned to our long-established and robust supply chain. We created the division Bona Fide Masks™ and began supplying hospitals with hundreds of thousands of masks a week.

We continue the work to this day with the mission of getting affordable masks to those who need them—supplying hospitals, private doctors offices, essential businesses, and individuals with PPE, face masks, respirators, and other protection.

Over these past six months, we have become the premier U.S. distributor for Powecom, the Powecom KN95 Face Mask manufacturer, which is one of the original FDA Authorized Appendix-A KN95 respirators.

We have a lot more work to do, but we are proud to be a nominee for the 70th annual WCA leadership award.
